What is the Zalimed process?
Choose the therapy required, click on ‘Start My Visit,’ and respond to a brief set of medical questions. A licensed clinician in your state will thoroughly review your provided information and prescribe medication as necessary. Expect to receive feedback from a licensed clinician within approximately 24 hours. In certain States, a video consultation or live chat will be necessary. If so, a licensed clinician will reach out to you to conduct and finalize your consultation using the required method.
How much does Zalimed cost?
If medication therapy is appropriate, you will be able to purchase it through the Zalimed platform at far lower costs than other sites and even cheaper than your local pharmacy.
Other
Can I use my health insurance?
We do not accept insurance. We believe an individual’s access to quality care should not depend on a third party’s opinion. Zalimed has removed the barriers traditional insurers can cause and replaced them with transparency and convenience. Our prices for your clinician consultation and medication are industry-leading and oftentimes cheaper than using insurance.
Is it legal to prescribe medications online?
Yes. Each clinician you interact with is licensed to prescribe medicine and treat patients in the state you live in. This allows you to get the medications you need, on your schedule, hassle-free.
Can I use my local pharmacy?
Yes. You can choose to use your local pharmacy and your clinician can send your prescription there. Otherwise, if prescribed, your medication is filled and shipped by a partner pharmacy licensed by its state board of pharmacy, which is usually the cheaper and more convenient option. We cannot guarantee drug pricing at your local pharmacy.
When will I be charged for my medication?
You are not charged for medication until a licensed clinician approves your treatment plan. Subscriptions then renew on the schedule shown at checkout, and you can cancel any time before a shipment from your account.
Is my information protected?
Yes. We take protecting your information seriously. Please read our Privacy Policy for details.
How old do I have to be to use Zalimed?
We treat patients 18 years of age and older. If you are younger than 18 years of age, please seek treatment from a local clinician.
If I’m having an emergency, what should I do?
In case of an emergency please call 9-1-1.
Why do I need to submit a copy of my photo ID and take a picture of myself?
State regulations require that the clinician treating you can confirm who they are treating. That is why we may ask you to take a picture of yourself and your photo ID.
